B. I also provide counselling for school-aged children and young people aged 9-18 years, including autistic young people, to better understand and regulate their emotions, anxiety, behaviour and attention, to express themselves and communicate more freely, and to be more confident and assertive. I work closely with parents (and teachers) to help them to help their child and/or teenager. My counselling approach is heavily influenced by psychodynamic theory combined with the more practical and hands-on practices of CBT and ACT.
